I placed an order using a gift card and paid the balance with a MasterCard. A few days later I received an email from jcpenney.com that the item I want it is no longer in stock and that I was not charged for this order. A bit too late because I had already discarded the gift card at after using it. So today was my fourth time calling regarding the refund for the item that's no longer in stock Cust. Svc stated a partial refund was issued and that another partial refund will be issued in 7 days. But it does not equal what I paid for the boots. I was told to call the corporate office and file a complaint with them.
