LeapFrog Returns and Refunds

Please find details regarding the return and refund policies for LeapFrog below. We encourage you to leave a comment regarding your experience requesting a return or refund from LeapFrog so others can benefit from what you learned.



LeapFrog Return Policy

Purchased items may be returned for a refund within 90 days of purchase date. The product must not have been used and retain original packaging. Item(s) should be repacked in the original box, if possible, or a similar box. Circle the item being returned on the packing slip and send with the item. Keeping a copy of the packing slip is recommended.

If a packing slip is not available, a printed copy of the order confirmation is acceptable as an alternative.

Bundled items:
All items within a bundle must be returned together. In order to process the the return, any item bundles must include all items from the bundle. Partial returned are not accepeted.

Promotional offers:
During a promotional offer, such as a "buy 1, get 1 free" bundle, the free item must be returned in order to receive a refund. Returning a promotional item without all items from the original transaction will have the value of the promotional item deducted from the amount refunded.

PACKING SLIP:
If the packing slip or order confirmation is not included, or if 90 days have lapsed, a refund is not available and items will be returned.

All refunds will be issued to the original payment method or the billing name and address from the original order. Shipping charges are not refundable and CODs are not accepted.

Registered mail, UPS, and FedEx offer proof of delivery options, which is recommended for returns. Note the tracking number when shipping the item for reference.

If the product is experiencing difficulty, DO NOT RETURN THE ITEM. Please contact support for assistance.

...170 dollars and received the order. One week later I returned it after multiple phone calls to get an authorization for return. I was told that the return would have to be paid for by me. I took the package and thank goodness I paid for next day delivery with confirmation of receipt. Ironically, LeapFrog was held up to me and my coworkers as a superior organization. If I'd only known. I returned a $230 LeapPad system to them two weeks ago, and they can't find the package. I just finished my third phone call...they couldn't locate my package and that they'd have to research and get back to me—while the purchase sits on my debit card and they have my cash. Very, VERY disappointed...

... for my daughter. However this Christmas I was disappointed with the Leapfrog Tablet. On Christmas day my daughter opened her gift... she cried. On top of that Toys R Us would not return it, because it was open even though I had my receipt. They didn't have anymore left in the chain of stores and told me it would be a long while before...couldn't get an even exchange I at least wanted my cash back not a merchandise credit, because I saw some at Target. Personally I ... electronic toys should be tested before packaging products for retail stores, especially during the Christmas Holiday.

I had among one of my worst service experiences ever with Leapfrog. Ordered Leapster. Arrived and wouldn't work. Contacted ... of back and forth and no solution they agreed to replace it. Took another week of back and forth for them ... they sent back). Exhausted by the process I told them that either a unit need to be overnighted or the purchase refunded. After 3 more days they called to tell me it owuld be overnighted. The next day I got an eamil saying it wasn't possible for them to do that and they would refund my money. Really???? So product ordered 1/19 and now it is 3/8 and I am back where I ...

.... I packed more than one orders in one package and shipped to their warehouse on January 8. It was more than one month from the date that I shipped to them and I never got the refunds, I sent them many emails and never ...happened. I have not received refunds for over one and half month. Be careful when placing order with Leapfrog.com, it is a big problem to contact customer services to solve an issue...

...have one! Which was wrong I found it online. Then she decided they would replace it but it will take 10-15 days to receive! This was a christmas gift and they should send it within one week! Or allow me to pay overnight shipping which she said I couldn't do. She asked my order ... that in the system!! I should've bought it at toysrus and taken it in to exchange, a lot less hassle! I don't recommend ordering online!!!!!!!! Now my 5 year old has to wait another 10-15 days for her gift!
